Great BBC miniseries from a few years ago...pretty sure I caught it on IFC one Halloween - 5 episodes of about 25 minutes each, so in essence, about an hour and a half movie if you watch them back to back...the premise is during the shooting of 'Big Brother' somewhere in England, a zombie outbreak occurs during one of the exile bits of the show...naturally the crap hits the fan and a lot of uppity class brits get chewed on in the nastiest ways.
The core group are the Big Brother contestants and they fortify their "house" and make runs for supplies and take in survivors who show up. It's a pretty intense show with some truly bloody zombie attacks. It ends about like you would expect which I won't spoil here, but there is a definite message here about those who sacrifice their own lives to watch the filmed exploits of others on the Tele. It's a bit on the nose, but nothing too off putting. These are definitely the "zombies" of 28 Days Later who run fast and attack like wild dogs...this could even be seen as happening in the same "universe" as those movies. A fun chomp....er, romp.
