Soldiers and Samurai...

I did not get as much done as I wanted to last night. Still some things...

Sharpie Soldiers...from reference...

A duotone of the above pic.

Detail of the heads...I like the symbol on the helmet.

And something I'm working on..not finished. From a book of Japanese artwork...A spearman...

The reference photo.

Minor art weekend...

I basically took the weekend off. But I did put a few things down anyway...

Freddy sketch from reference...

And this is what happens when you start painting without a plan in mind. This has been dubbed "The Salmon Faced Man" by my better half. That's as good a name as any!

Remembrance

Finished off an original piece of mine...one that is very dear to me. I think doing it in greys was the absolute best choice. Remembrance...

And another 'surprise' - straight from The Raptor's Nest!!!

Westy the Westerner...

This is for my friend Jay over at The Raptor's Nest. It is based on one of his recent figurines that he painted. I added a bit more color and some liberties of my own. I wonder if he's seen it yet? haha!

Tom Araya and some Good Guys...

Got another sharpie quickie in first last night...Tom Araya of Slayer. May have to draw or paint this one larger soon....

Also, dove back in to my Batman/Superman idea some last night. Approached it as a comic page...we'll see where this goes...but for now, it's interesting. Bruce and Clark are looking at something terrible...

A killer buried, but not dead....and Ten HUT!

Minor output this weekend, but the two I did get were good ones.

First off, that Momma's Boy from Crystal Lake. Jason Lives in Sharpie and ink. Love this one - it's simple and badass. Might have to paint this one soon.

This is another Soldier in acrylic painted from reference. Not entirely accurate in terms of color, etc but it was fun to see how it turned out in the end.
