Hello again, Memphis Belle...so glad to see you!

Got to see the Memphis Belle again this year. What a wonderful aircraft. Caught some landings and a takeoff and even a flyover! Then got to take a tour inside which is always eye opening no matter what. Amazing to me the things those crews did inside of these tin can tubes of death and destruction. Just a wonderful experience.

Some glorious flyover shots - the belly of the beast!

One of my favorite photos ever.

I found it funny that the access door had the word "Stuka" painted on it.

Looking out through the front of the nose.

That's the width of the walkway over the bomb doors in the fuselage. Scary.

Incredible Machine.

MOVIE REVIEW - Escape Plan (2013)...

Catching up on another old school movie hero flick - the Sly/Arnold action fest. I really enjoyed it. It's nice to see the old guys still getting it. Good story, good acting by the leads and some strong support cast including Jim Caviezel, Faran Tahir (captain of the Kelvin in Star Trek), Sam Neill, and Vincent D'Onofrio. Stallone is a for hire who breaks out of high security prisons in order to test their effectiveness. When he gets locked away "for good" in one he helped design, he pals with Arnold in order to get out. Good action, even some GUNS!, and some funny lines make this a fun movie to watch. It's sad we haven't had more Arnold-Sly films, but at least we are getting them now. Well done, sirs...3.5 out of 5 Khans!
