Starfleet Secret Missions...The Vault

One of the neat things about recent STO gameplay are the inclusion of Episodes...story oriented missions that bring more and more classic Trek aliens and stuff into the game. This weekend I attempted "The Vault" - a secret Romulan base deep in Romulan territory and the only way to get there was by shuttlecraft, no large capital ships allowed...

My Ship used specifically for this mission, the Runabout USS Olympia...



Once inside The Vault, I discovered its power source...yes, that is a captured Borg Sphere...

A Thalaron Generator possessed by the Remans...Shinzon's technology...



Funny screen..apparently you shoot fireworks in space during sector travel...I'm not sure what purpose it serves or how you do it, but it is fun to see regardless...

Then, the main Breen leader shows up and tries to steal the preserver secrets...we had to take him down...uh, take him out..uh...hmmm...

Very light week, but still some good stuff...

COVER OF THE WEEK...Morning Glories TPB Volume 1. Nice clean lines and simple image. Near perfect.



Batman 707...second favorite cover - lots of nice old school action and color here.



Wolverine 6...too bad the cover artwork is the only thing to speak of.



Uncanny X-Force 5...Fantomex takes center stage in the new storyline. Excellent series thus far.

Batman - The Killing Joke. Arguably the best Batman comic/book/GN ever written. Concise, dark and superbly conceived.



All-Star Superman Collection 1...



Axe Cop Collection 1....one of the most awesome books ever. I'm serious...it has dinosaurs with gatling gun arms. Yeah, I just said that.



GI JOE - Cobra Volume 2. Best Joe book on the stands. Not for the kiddies!
