Ki45...Covering up all those nice panel lines...

Well, here it comes...

Usually I approach Japanese WW2 camo with solid colors and weathering. This is my first attempt at this "squiggly" stripe camo. My thoughts are mixed on it. I think it mimics the real life photos I've seen and used as reference, I'm just not sure it's my "favorite" camo that I've ever done.

Below are the two profiles I'm trying to get to...mostly a mixture of the two...





And here are the results so far...







Then the taping for the white bands begins...



Finally, upon drying, I removed the tape and examined the results. Got some small areas of "white run-off" into the cracks but I'm pretty sure I can turn those into weathering marks. We shall see.
