Leviathan (1989). Coming out in the middle of the underwater alien/monster phase of 1989 - which also included Deepstar Six and James Cameron's The Abyss - this was a straight rip-off of Alien. Not entirely original but also a fun undersea movie. Robocop (Peter Weller), Col. Trautman (Richard Crenna) and a Ghostbuster (Ernie Hudson) lead the cast. Miners find a sunken Russian ship which carries a virus that turns humans into mutated sea creatures - oh yeah. Stan Winston created the main creature, I just wish there was a better picture of it online. Oh well.
