Here it comes. Started the month off with a bang. The faux documentary/found footage romp "Troll Hunter." Filmed in Norway with english subtitles, this is a pretty thrilling little film. Yes, the title and subject are completely ridiculous but there certainly aren't any wasted moments. A student film crew follows a Troll Hunter into the mountain wilderness in search of the creatures and finds more than they ever bargained for. Nice effects work for this production as well. I enjoyed this monster movie and as long as you don't expect an Oscar type film, I think you will too. Currently on Netflix Instant.
