1/72 Ki67...Sponges and Tape...



Finally got back to work on the Peggy this weekend. Lots of paint prep and sponge cutting in order to cover up the insides, etc. Then there was all that canopy masking I had to do...sheesh...bombers are cruel in that way...









This is most likely not "historically accurate" but I wanted to embellish the insides a little more. Note the little white "charts" with some tiny japanese writing on them. I thought maybe these could be ID charts for the bombarbier or tail gunners. Anyway some minor scratch detail to give the insides a bit of "extra"...









And finally the initial base coat - 10 parts Khaki with 4-5 parts White and a drop of Yellow. A nice dirty color.
