I need more movies like this in my life. Picking up at the very second the first one ended, lone survivor Martin barely escapes the clutches of zombie nazi Herzog and his undead troopers. In an outright hilarious intro, Herzog's arm gets amputated during a car chase and when Martin wakes up in the hospital the next day, the doctors have "reattached his arm which they found lying in the floor board" - heh. Only, Martin chopped his own arm off in the last movie, and now he has become attached to Herzog's demonic limb. More hilarity ensues as Martin accidentally kills some bystanders as he escapes the hospital, and is contacted by an American based Zombie Squad fronted by Martin Starr - yes THAT Martin Starr, Bill from the original Freaks and Geeks TV series...
Those nazi zombies love their grand entrances...
They discover that Herzog and his growing army want to finish their original mission and they must be stopped. And what's the best way to stop them? Why, resurrecting an entire legion of Russian POWs that Herzog murdered back during the war! HA!!!
A full on zombie on zombie war ensues with tons of gore, guts, and spraying bodily fluids. There is even a full size German Tiger Tank assault, a zombie sidekick for Starr and Martin, and an unexpected reunion for Martin at the end of the movie. Incredibly fun and totally ridiculous! It's supposed to be the opposite of serious and it's a blast to experience. To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, for example - when Herzog's group comes up on a museum with the German tank on display, they gut a tourist and use his intestines as a syphon to filter the gas from his tour bus into the tank. HA!!! Awesome.
And stay until the end of the credits...
