More on the Shinden...panels...

Did not get as far as I wanted, but I DID get some nice panel detailing over the weekend. Going for that layered look with slightly off color or faded panels in random spots to simulate replaced or newer sheets/parts due to maintenance or battle damage. I like it so far! Need to detail the cockpit and mask the canopy (Urg) and get the wheel well doors on, then the Future begins...

Finally...some movement on the painting detail on the Shinden. Panels, wheel wells, prop...several angles.

Got some "coats" on the Shinden this weekend...light blue..then panel lines, and an over of dark blue. We shall see...

Not much last night...quick prelim shot of the Shinden, hope to paint it this weekend!



Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary lost one of their own this week...Leo the lion of the world famous BLT clan - the Bear Baloo, Leo the Lion, and Shere Khan the Tiger. He passed away last night and it breaks my heart. At least they gave him a good life and he knew peace in the end. This is my small tribute to him. Sad Face.
