Pontypool - (2009?)

Ok I've been hearing about this one for a while and finally found a copy at a used DVD store...if you are a horror/zombie/end-of-the-world movie fan, then please check this out...it is low budget and very different...but as good as ANYTHING you'll see in the horror genre today...there aren't many pics out there other than a few promo stills, so I'm posting some of the better alternate posters I've found....FIND IT. WATCH IT. Holy crap.

1:48 Su25...secondary top camo color...

Red-brown secondary camo splotches added...not sure how I feel about it yet...

1:48 Su25...Top side...

Small update..top base color added...mixed green, some german grey and a little brown...still looks really green to me, but at the same time a bit more organic that I originally intended....still I'm liking it so far. Still a ways to go...

John Carpenter's They Live (1988)...

Ah, the hits just keep on coming..this week from Netflix Instant, another Carpenter modern classic - THEY LIVE...

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Keith David star in this sci fi/comedy spoof about aliens pulling the blinds over our eyes with mass consumerism and subliminal messages. Thing is, you can only see them with special sunglasses and then you see them for what they really are:

Roddy Piper: Kicking ass and chewing bubblegum...and he's all out of bubblegum!

A wonderful THEY LIVE inspired poster for current times...now that is funny.

1:48 Su25...panel lines...

Panel lines painted with flat black...most of them finished before black paint gunked up the airbrush nozzle. Oh well live and learn..still the result wasn't too bad...looking forward to final coats and camo patterns.
