Dreaded Ink...

Got one side of dreads done last night...plus some background shades and the shredded neckpiece. My drawing hand is TIRED...









And here are the final two shots with the solid black added in...lookin' good!

I'm not sure if I like the dread technique yet, BUT there is promise here.

The Next Greatest DVD/Bluray case ever...Star Trek Into Darkness

Finally got my Into Darkness Blu Special package...despite the mail carrier crushing the edges, the insides were intact.















The excellent die cast USS Vengeance miniature...two times the size, three times the speed...

Finished! 1/2500 scale Klingon D-7 Battlecruiser...I.K.S. Blood Talon

I put the other two ships in the set - Enterprise and Reliant - on the backburner for now. The decals are crappy and I just don't feel like fooling around with them right now. Concentrated on getting the D-7 painted and detailed - it had the best mold of the three. I am very pleased with the final output. Enjoy!

Gonna have to smooth out some rough edges and wrinkles. All in all this went down pretty easily though...



Painting the D7 a darker green and will highlight it with lighter green.

NEW PROJECT - Star Trek Motion Picture Three Pack!

Very simple and quick build. Honestly I am getting burned out on the grind of building the great quality, high-end models. I needed something easy and then I will prob take a nice long break from scale modeling for 2013. I've accomplished a lot this year - pretty good output for me. For now here are some prelim shots.
