1/48 Slovak Mig 29...cockpit finish...

Some finishing touches on the cockpit paint detailing and glued it in to the top nose section. Up close it looks like a sloppy job but looking at it together with the nose section, it doesn't look half bad. I like the red accents.

Those are some gnarly toes...ZOMBIE VIPER!

I've been searching for this one for a while...thanks to a good friend (You rule, Eric.) he now joins the madness. Cobra Zombie Viper!

First some packaging pics....gorgeous...

Grrr...

Yes, these tentacles are removable.

And yes, he gets a cool mask too.

Movie of the Year 2012...

I just saw the movie of the year this weekend. Should be required viewing in every American public school. Respect!

Act of Valor. 2012. OUTSTANDING.

1/48 Slovak Mig 29...cockpit and nose...

It doesn't look like I got much done here...but a bit more prep work and support piece construction on the cockpit and nose section. Painted some black and Dark Sea Grey on inside cockpit frame detail areas, plus added 4 radar "nodules" on the nose. See below.

Some detail work on the cockpit. Pale Blue overall and black dials painted with the tip of a TOOTHPICK! I must be crazy. Needs a third color for detail on the panels and some touchup work around the seat to make it look good I think.

And a picture of the workbench overall at this stage...

So many Preds..so little time...

Some more black and whites of the Tribe...giving some love to Falconer and cloaking Berserker for a change, plus a few of unmasked City Hunter and Boar with weapons drawn. Enjoy...

Sneak Peak! Brraaaiiiiiinnnnnsssss!!!

A very quick sneak peak at the newest addition to my collection. An old 80's horror favorite. More on this later.

New Project 1/48 Slovak Mig 29...getting started...

Finally getting started on the new MIG...gotta say I'm pretty impressed with the number of pieces/detail on this kit so far. First pic below is just the top half of the cockpit section of the fuselage - had to drill holes in the front to add radar stubs (holes inside the circle). Also the arrows each point to a piece added on. Wow.

A close-up of the ejection seat (complete with pull handles) and the cockpit - panel and stick glued in.

The workbench. Slow going at this point but it's about to get serious.
