Salem's Lot / 1979 / TV
Still hard to believe this was a made for TV mini-series. One of the creepiest and moody horror adaptations in modern times. Barlow - "The Master" - is the Best. Vampire. Ever. The creature design owes a LOT to the original Nosferatu, but it DOES add a good but of nastiness to the established look. Also doesn't hurt that the actor they chose didn't need much work to get into costume...
That's the stuff of nightmares! One of the very best to watch at Halloween.
