I'M CAPTAIN KIRK!!!!!

"The Enemy Within"

"Sir, something is approaching..."

I mean damn, blow the entire saucer section off next time why don't you?

"What do you make of the cat, Mr. Spock?"

"Quite a lovely animal, Captain. I find myself strangely drawn to it."

Star Trek Season Two - Assignment: Earth

"The three of us and millions of primitive Humans - I like those odds..."

DS9 episode from season four - "Little Green Men" - where Quark, Rom, and Nog get stranded in 1947 Roswell.

"These Humans, they're nothing like the ones from the Federation. They're crude, gullible and greedy."

"They gave her back to me, Scotty..."

Greatest flyover in the entire series. Best Enterprise design. Best Goldsmith music. Awesome.

"Shooting space garbage is no test of a warrior's meddle..."

Captain Klaa.

"I am attempting to roast...a marsh MELON..."

STV gets a lot of criticism and rightfully so, but it has some of the best crew moments of the series, esp the Big Three:

"Bourbon and beans, an explosive combination..."

The Klingon March

One of the best opening scores in movie history.

"Iiiissshhh..."

Happy 48th - Still Boldly Going...

48 years ago today...some little space show debuted on television. I've been alive for 38 of those years, and watching it for most of that time in its various forms. Today I will celebrate with pictures, words and perhaps a drawing or two. Above is a great banner - from where we've been, and where we're going...live long and prosper, Star Trek!

Oh, and here are some new Star Trek Online screens:
