Edisto - 2014

Had a glorious week off in Edisto Island last week...just a few shots of the things I saw...

Botany Bay...Botany BAY??? OH NO!!!!!

This is a mostly untouched natural beach full of thousands of shells, a tree graveyard, animals, and several marked loggerhead nests. All natural. I didn't see any cargo carriers though...







Some critters I saw...Godzilla and the Sea Monster...scuse me...an alligator and a half inch size teeny beach crab hiding under my flip flop.





Finally, a panoramic view from our front porch. We had rabbits, skinks, crabs, a cat, and some deer living in the bushes you see here.

Edisto 2013

Every day should end just like this:



This little guy was about as big as the palm of my hand...he was chomping on a horseshoe crab carcass...



First catch of the day - an 8 inch wide Stingray!



Horseshoe crabs mating...upside down...



This one had no tail but he was alive...I turned him over and he slowly made his way back to the ocean.



Dolphins in the surf...all week long.

And finally our living room...is it me or does this resemble the engineering room of the ENTERPRISE??? HAH!!!
