31 in 31 - "Get a job in a sideshow."

"I was busy pushing bodies around as you well know and what would a note say, Dan? "Cat dead, details later"? "

Day 7 - Re-Animator (1985)

One of my favorite horror movies ever. Jeffrey Combs is a master. So funny and dark. I'll never forget the first time I saw it on late night TV.

Wake up, Dr. Hill...

31 in 31 - "More human than human is our motto."

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die."

Day 6 - Blade Runner . 1982

Sci-Fi Classic. Moody and full of great actors. Rutger Hauer for the win. And Harrison Ford eats noodles.

31 in 31 - 'T'Kuvma The Unforgettable'

'Here it Comes.'

Day 5 - Double bill of Star Trek Discovery premiere episodes. Not horror but very dark. And I do what I want.

1x01 - The Vulcan Hello

1x02 - Battle at the Binary Stars

Basically a Star Trek movie on television. A+.

31 in 31 - "Space..."

"Go. Away."

Day 4 - Star Trek: The Next Generation - 4x17 - 'Night Terrors'

The crew can't dream and all begin to lose their collective sh*t. Some gnarly visions occur and ghostly happenings invade the Enterprise - like bodies in a morgue sitting up around Dr. Crusher. CREEPY!

Bonus points for repurposing a Reliant model as the ill-fated USS Brittain.

31 in 31 - "She's ALIIVE!"

"You think I'm mad. Perhaps I am. But listen, Henry Frankenstein. While you were digging in your graves, piecing together dead tissues, I, my dear pupil, went for my material to the source of life. I grew my creatures, like cultures, grew them as nature does, from seed."

DAY 3 - The Bride of Frankenstein - 1935.

Funny that in 1935 all they had to put on the poster was Karloff. No full name needed here. My favorite scene is when the injured monster breaks bread with the blind hermit. Elsa Lanchester was a fox! A classic.

31 in 31 - "12:00, the 21st of April."

"I don't know what happened to Antonio Bay tonight. Something came out of the fog and tried to destroy us. In one moment, it vanished. But if this has been anything but a nightmare, and if we don't wake up to find ourselves safe in our beds, it could come again. To the ships at sea who can hear my voice, look across the water, into the darkness. Look for the fog."

Day 2 - THE FOG - 1980.

Creepy minimal horror from the master Carpenter.

31 in 31 - "Some day this war's gonna end..."

"Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that."

DAY 1 - Apocalypse Now - 1979.

Technically not a horror film, but it is full of horrible things. And of course -- Robert Duvall.
