Didn't get as many color photos as I thought I would...the detail is great but the colors are difficult to photograph without natural light...

Will have to get better close-ups of the bio...for now, this is the best one I have...

The BW's turned out better than the color on this one...several below...

Guardian Predator on the loose...

NECA's Predators Series 5 is out! In the past, I've put up pictures of ALL the new figs all at once. This time, however, I think I'm going to give each hunter his "due." First one out of the package is the Guardian Predator aka Gort Predator. Interesting bit of trivia: This was the original bio mask intended to be used in the first Predator film. Ultimately they made the right choice, but I still like this one very much - very similar to the Celtic Pred from AVP. Anyway..some in package pics to start off...

New Comics...catching up on the last two weeks...

I've been away for a few days and have missed some posts/updates so here we go... First off, a new TPB I picked up over the weekend - The Ultimates 2 - Volume 2. A contemporary take on the Avengers and very close to the characters and atmosphere of the new Avengers movie, with a bit more grit. I highly recommend this - it is a nice introduction to the Ultimates line of books which is frankly a lot larger than I thought. Wow.

Co-Covers of the Week - The Manhattan Projects 3 and Batwoman 9...

Free Comic Book Day issue - The New 52 #1...kinda sums up the first few months with some backstory and teases DC's first major EVENT coming in 2013. So much potential! Very excited...
