One of the best loads in a long, long time. Top to bottom quality, for the most part...
COTW - Isn't it a given with Jock? Best Batman book out there, consistently good. Just damn...Detective Comics 880...
Almost COTW...my favorite ongoing series right now...ups the ante with each new arc. Sickening how good this book is..artwork is great and the Dark Angel Saga is kicking my arse! Bravo...Uncanny X-Force 12...
2nd favorite ongoing series. Great horror action. American Vampire 17...
Damn you marvel..another mini I have to get. What would happen if a plague hit the Marvel Heroes? Wolverine is the only one who can "hopefully" stop them. Gruesome things happen and some don't survive...Marvel Universe Vs. Wolverine 1 and 2...
Wow. Better than I thought...fun and great, great artwork, I might just be on board for this one! Amazing Spider-Man 666...
This is my only downer for the week...afraid I may be taking Godzi off the list. The excitement of just havnig a new Godzilla comic has worn off - plodding story and lazy, sloppy art. Opportunity missed! Godzilla 5...
Bats The Dark Knight 4...very pretty...that's about it...
The Search for Swamp Thing #2...Superman is a Terminator now?

Finished! Afrika Korps 1/35 Armored Car Sd.Kfz.222...
Ok here we go. Latest project is done. Pretty pleased with how this turned out for my first armor piece. Excellent kit and easy to build/augment. Added a few extra details here and there. More pics to come in the following days. For now, enjoy.
Extra type added to my favorite shot...
Same angle, but with flash. I don't like this one as much, but at least you get a good idea of the colors used here.
Why so worried?

1/35 Sd.Kfz.222...weathering and further progress...
Now we're getting somewhere...the vehicle turned out a bit better than expected so far, but my figures look like albino store dummies. Sigh. More touchup to come...
My favorite pic from this bunch...the guy sitting in the gun bed doesn't look at that bad when next to the machinery.

1/35 Sd.Kfz.222...first paint application...
May not need another coat after this. The Panzer Grey shows through nicely it seems. Haven't wiped the salt off yet, that should give some nice "burn marks." What do you guys think? Color is a mix of yellow, some brown, and a dab of foundation white.

Thanks, Gene.
Man, I had forgotten about this. This was done around the time of Gene Roddenberry's death..c. 1991. A new Star Trek comic series was out at the time so they picked one of the cover artists to do a small tribute. Very cool. Glad I kept this one.
