Some quick illustrator tests...first example is Berserker bio with the original photo for reference. This could end up on a stylized poster...or as part of a larger piece perhaps...we shall see...

Upcoming project...1/35 German Armored Car Sd.Kfz.222 "North African Campaign"...

I won't start on this just yet but wanted to post a pic to get started. Been eyeing this one for a while...it went on clearance so I pulled the trigger. Lots of detail and potential here. I will most likely go with the Afrika Korps paint scheme, using the tutorial below provided by my friend, Jay. Looking forward to it!

The Howling (1981)...

Had to give a little shout-out to an oldie I revisited this past weekend...1981's The Howling. Oh man, practical effects never looked so good...one of the original masterpieces of that decade. So many great werewolf transformations and full body creatures. This is how they did it back in my day, kiddies!

Arguably one of the top 2 or 3 horror posters of the 1980s...or ever:

Construction and painting done...getting ready for Future coat finish...then decals and last minute weathering and details. Also need a base..more on that later. For now, a few angle shots...

Oh yes I did...

What happens when you find yourself stuck in the middle of the jungle with no one to hunt or kill? You fashion yourself a warrior staff that's what! Some sticks whittled down to pointed ends, some strands of vine and a human spine for added flavor. Now you're ready to go...fun secret project I had over the weekend while waiting on the Frogfootskie to dry in between paintings...very fun to make and it fits the Berserker perfectly...
