Ah, Netflix Instant strikes again...the 1987 John Carpenter classic...



Basically, the essence of Satan is trapped in a swirling vat of green stuff - and a group of college students and their professor are commissioned to study it by none other than Donald Pleasance, Dr. Loomis himself...madness and weirdness ensues and the evil naturally escapes and starts picking them off one by one...by one...can they stop it in time?



Little bit of white face makeup and Alice Cooper is magically transformed into a bum possessed by the Devil...



Is that the guy from Simon & Simon?



Acne can be bad in a movie like this..

NECA will be releasing a horde of new 7" Predator figures from all of the movies. This is the first I've found...The Wolf...from AVPR. This is only the beginning...

1/48 Su25...slowly but surely...

One of the longest pre-paint builds ever...BUT it should pay off in the end..lots of small details - pylon, ladders, antennae, etc...almost time for that first airbrush session...

This must be Super Promotion week as just about every major title has some kind of banner embellishing its cover, ruining otherwise great artwork...oh well starting off with TRI-COVERS OF THE WEEK, a first for me..

Hellraiser #2 - becoming one of my favorite books...well drawn and written even better...so good to see this title succeeding on its premise.



Godzilla KOM #3...too much monster action on the front to not give this one a nod...a hilarious comic...

Witch Doctor #0...add-on to TWD85...I am getting a serious Re-Animator/Poltergeist vibe from this one and I am thrilled - gonna have to pick this one up when it debuts....can never have enough horror comics!

Small update...wings and rear stabilizers now attached..a few more pieces to be added and then painting can commence...

Sorry for the delay...there have been several tedious construction pieces - things that need to be painted before assembly, multiple pieces that need to be built before being added to the fuselage, etc but slowly but surely we are getting there. First off, the workbench...



A new set of brushes, Hobby Lobby $4...



View of my crappy pre painted cockpit, I'm still kinda shoddy at doing these. I want to make them good, but in the end most of it will be covered by a pilot and canopy so who cares?

Lots of Number Ones this week...we'll see how that goes, it looks promising, although my wallet REALLY hates me right now.

First off, COVER OF THE WEEK Nonplayer #1. This is as much a celebration of the cover as it is the interior art - which you can see below. Every panel is incredibly detailed. Just great stuff.
